Eufy SoloCam S340 review
Eufy Security SoloCam S340 Solar Security Camera
By Tom Calder
The dual-lens design — a 3K wide-angle lens plus a 2K telephoto with 8x hybrid zoom — is a genuine point of difference, giving a wide overview shot and a usable close-up from the same unit. 8GB of built-in local storage means no subscription is needed to operate it, and the removable solar panel is designed to keep it topped up without direct sun for months at a time.
- Best for
- Buyers who want a genuine wide-plus-telephoto zoom and solar power with no subscription.
- Skip it if
- You want cloud backup as standard

Researched, not used. We haven't used this product. This review is built from the maker's specifications, owner reports and our own sizing.
What we like
- Dual-lens design (3K wide + 2K telephoto, 8x hybrid zoom) in a single camera unit
- 8GB built-in local storage — no subscription required to operate
- Removable solar panel with a manufacturer-claimed 3 months' reserve power without sun
Worth knowing
- Several bundle/ASIN variants exist at different prices (single camera, 2-camera kit, HomeBase bundle) — confirm you're ordering the SKU you think you are
- It's one dual-lens camera, not two separate cameras, despite some retailer listings using 'Dual Camera' wording

When two products are close, commission can decide which one we pick. A clearly better product always wins. Amazon prices come from Amazon's own product data and show the date and time they were retrieved. Prices at other retailers are checked by us, less often. Who shouldn't buy this
Skip this if you want cloud backup as standard — that needs the optional HomeBase S380, sold separately.
