A tidy, tool-free upgrade for existing Hive households with TRV valve bodies already fitted — the head swaps on in minutes with no plumbing involved, and each radiator gets its own schedule. Manual valves need the head-and-body version instead, which does involve draining the system. It's an add-on, not a starting point, so it only earns its keep once a current Hive Hub (or Hub 360) is already running.

What we like
- No tools or plumber needed if a TRV valve body is already fitted — old head unscrews, new one hand-tightens on in around 10-20 minutes
- Room-by-room scheduling and boost via the Hive app rather than one setting for the whole house
- Works with any plumbed radiator system that has TRV bodies fitted — no Hive thermostat or Active Heating required on top of the hub

Who shouldn't buy this
You don't already have a current Hive Hub or Hub 360 running — the original Hive Hub 1 doesn't support radiator valves, so check your hub generation before buying. A separate Hive thermostat or Active Heating isn't required.
