A dependable, do-it-all portable unit that cools, heats and dehumidifies a small room, but it is a dated single-hose design and noticeably noisy at full tilt. Fine for a modest space if you can live with the hum; look elsewhere for anything larger or for bedside-quiet running.

Who shouldn't buy this
