KeySafe P500 Pro review
KeySafe P500 Pro Anti-Tamper Key Safe
By Tom Calder
The P500 Pro is the C500 Pro's sibling with a code-protection plate, a stainless back plate and a steel liner inside. It has the same A1 (SR1) entry on the LPCB register as the C500 Pro, so the extra build is about tamper resistance rather than a higher register grade. It has a smaller interior than the C500 Pro, which matters if you store a bulky fob.
- Best for
- Households where several people know the code and an accidental or unwanted code change would be a real problem.
- Skip it if
- You only need a spare key shared with one relative

Researched, not used. We haven't used this product. This review is built from the maker's specifications, owner reports and our own sizing.
What we like
- Anti-tamper plate stops the code being changed by accident or by someone else, per the maker
- LPCB Red Book entry to LPS 1175 Issue 8, A1 (SR1)
- Stainless back plate and internal steel liner give a heavier build than the basic models
Worth knowing
- Smaller interior than the C500 Pro, so bulky key fobs may not fit
- Same fixing limits as the C500 Pro: flat brick, blockwork or good concrete only
- Maker's 5-year warranty is stated as standard on its page, but other lines say 2 years until registered, so check on purchase
ⓘ As an Amazon Associate, PreparedBritain earns from qualifying purchases. We may earn a commission when you buy, or a fee when you request a quote, through our links — it never affects what we recommend. Amazon prices come from Amazon's own product data and show the date and time they were retrieved. Prices at other retailers are checked by us, less often. Prices and stock can change at any time, so always check the retailer's price before you buy.
Who shouldn't buy this
You only need a spare key shared with one relative: the C500 Pro gives the same register grade for less, and a simple Master Lock box is enough for a low-risk spare.
