MeacoCool Pro 9000 CH review
MeacoCool MC Series Pro 9000 CH Portable Air Conditioner and Heater
By Tom Calder
Meaco's current 9,000 BTU unit cools, heats, dehumidifies and runs from an app, and it was one of only two big-brand portables in stock on Amazon UK in October 2026, while Meaco's own shop was taking pre-orders. Meaco is a Guildford family firm with UK support and a 2-year warranty, and the box includes both a standard and a flexible window kit. One gap: the capacity and noise on its energy-label record look copied from Meaco's smaller model, so we can't give you a trustworthy label kW or dB figure yet.
- Best for
- A heat-pump unit from a UK brand
- Skip it if
- You want the quietest bedroom unit

What we like
- Heats as well as cools (heat pump)
- Two window kits in the box
- UK brand, sold on Amazon UK
Worth knowing
- Label figures look mis-filed
- Single hose: noisy at night
- 24kg to move between rooms

Who shouldn't buy this
Don't buy it if you want the quietest bedroom unit: De'Longhi's EX93 and the Midea PortaSplit have quieter labels.
