Anker MagGo 10K review
Anker MagGo Power Bank 10K Slim (Qi2 Magnetic)
By Tom Calder
A slim 10,000mAh bank that clips magnetically to the back of a compatible phone and charges wirelessly at up to 15W, with a USB-C port for everything else. It suits people who want a tidy, cable-free top-up through a power cut or a long day out. It gives you a single wired port, so it is less flexible than the multi-port banks on this page, and the wireless route is slower than a cable.
- Best for
- Keeping a recent iPhone or other Qi2 phone topped up without a cable, in a pocket or grab bag.

What we like
- Magnetic Qi2 wireless charging at up to 15W, as Anker specifies it, so no cable is needed for a compatible phone
- Slim and light at about 215 g and under 15 mm thick, easy to keep in a bag or pocket
- USB-C port rated up to 30W for cabled charging and for recharging the bank itself
- Comes with a 60 cm USB-C cable and a 24-month warranty, as listed on Anker's UK page
Worth knowing
- Only one wired port, so a second device has to use the wireless pad
- Wireless charging tops out at 15W, half the 30W of the wired USB-C port
- Phone needs Qi2 or a magnetic case to hold on properly

Our review
Anker's MagGo Power Bank 10K Slim (model A1664) is a 10,000mAh bank that snaps to the back of a Qi2 phone and charges it wirelessly at up to 15W, with a single 30W USB-C port for cables. At under 15mm thick it is the one to keep in a coat pocket through a power cut. One port and a wireless pad make it a phone bank, not a family bank.
What Anker specifies
Anker's UK page lists 10,000mAh, Qi2 certification with 15W wireless output, a 30W USB-C port, dimensions of 104 by 70.6 by 14.7mm, a 60cm USB-C to USB-C cable in the box and a 24-month warranty. Anker's own wording puts usable capacity at about 5,500 to 6,500mAh after conversion losses, which it says is about 1.8 charges of an iPhone 15 Pro. Anker's service pages give the USB-C input as 5V/3A, 9V/3A and 15V/2A, 30W maximum, so a 30W charger fills it in a couple of hours. Weight is not on Anker's page; retailers give around 200g.
At 10,000mAh and a nominal 3.7V, that is 37 watt-hours, well under the 100Wh ceiling that airlines apply under Civil Aviation Authority rules, so it flies in hand luggage without approval. Never put a power bank in hold luggage.
In a power cut
A phone through a 24-hour outage is the realistic job. With about 1.8 full charges of a large phone, it keeps one handset alive for a day or two of light use and checking the power cut map. Wireless charging wastes energy as heat, so plug the cable in when you want every milliamp-hour: the USB-C port charges a phone faster and further than the magnetic pad. Keep the bank topped up; a bank that has sat at 20% for six months is the one that lets you down. Our power cut preparation guide puts a charged bank beside the torch.
The limits
One wired port means one device at a time by cable. The second device has to use the magnetic pad, and only a Qi2 phone or one in a magnetic case holds on; an older Android with plain Qi will charge if it stays put on a table, slowly. There is nothing here for a laptop, a tablet at speed or a household of three phones. The 15W pad is half the port's output.
How it compares
On the power banks page, the Belkin UltraCharge Pro 10K is the direct rival, with faster 25W Qi2 wireless and the same single USB-C. The Anker Nano 10K has a built-in cable and a USB-A port for the same capacity, with no magnet. For a household, the INIU B5 20K or the Anker 20K 87W charge two or three devices at once for less per milliamp-hour. The MagGo Slim is the tidiest personal bank here, and the slimmest.
Our verdict
Buy it if you have a recent iPhone or a Qi2 Android, want a bank that lives on the back of the phone, and your outage plan is one phone for a day. Skip it if you need to charge several devices or a laptop, or your phone has no magnet; a multi-port 20K bank serves a household better.

Who shouldn't buy this
You want to charge a laptop or several devices at once, or your phone is not Qi2 or magnetic-compatible; a multi-port wired bank such as the Ugreen or Anker 20K models fits better.

How many times does the Anker MagGo 10K Slim charge a phone?
Anker quotes about 1.8 charges of an iPhone 15 Pro, from a usable capacity it puts at about 5,500 to 6,500mAh after conversion losses. Wired charging gets closer to that than wireless.
Can I take the Anker MagGo 10K Slim on a plane?
Yes, in hand luggage. At 10,000mAh and 3.7V it is about 37Wh, under the 100Wh limit airlines apply under CAA rules. Power banks must not go in the hold.
Does the Anker MagGo 10K Slim work with Android phones?
By cable, yes, through the 30W USB-C port. Wirelessly it needs a Qi2 phone or a magnetic case to hold on; a plain Qi phone charges only if it stays aligned on a flat surface.
How fast does the Anker MagGo 10K Slim recharge?
Anker's service pages give a 30W maximum USB-C input, so a 30W charger refills it in roughly two hours. The 60cm USB-C cable is in the box; the charger is not.
