The proper session shelter — from one of the brands that defined the carp bivvy.

For planned overnight and multi-day sessions on waters that permit them, a bivvy is what turns a long night into a comfortable one, and Fox's EOS is the mainstream, do-everything answer at well under flagship money: 8,000mm waterproofing, room for a bedchair, pram-hood design that pitches fast once you've done it twice. Be clear on what it's for — a permitted fishing session, not wild camping (pitching without the fishery's or landowner's permission is trespass) and not an emergency shelter.
