A genuinely child-friendly torch rather than a scaled-down adult one — soft colour modes, a sensible auto shut-off, and light enough for small hands. Worth having in a baby/child kit for reassurance during a blackout, but it's a comfort item, not core survival kit.

Best for: Giving a young child (3+) their own safe, low-glare torch to keep in a family emergency kit or by the bed for a power cut.
