MeacoDry Arete One 12L Dehumidifier & Air Purifier review
Everyday condensation and damp in a heated home.
By Tom Calder · Updated 24 July 2026 · Price checked against our tracker
The right default for a normal, heated British house: quiet at 35–38 dB(A), the largest tank of the 12L-class units here, and a five-year warranty that is the longest in this group. Meaco is also the only brand on this page to publish its full extraction matrix rather than one flattering number — 12.18 L/day at 30°C/80% falling to 1.95 L/day at 10°C/60% — which tells you exactly where its limits are.
£179.99 is Meaco's RRP and matched the Amazon.co.uk price on 24 July 2026. Street prices that day ran from about £160 to £204 depending on retailer, with a three-month low of £144 — worth a check before paying RRP.

- Publishes the full extraction matrix, not just the 30°C/80% headline
- 35–38 dB(A) — liveable on a landing or in a home office
- Five-year warranty, the longest here
- Rated only to 5°C, and Meaco's own data shows 1.95 L/day at 10°C/60%
- The filter is HEPA-type; Meaco publishes no filter grade or test standard
- RRP sits above the EcoAir and Pro Breeze compressor units
