NGT Profiler 8-Leg Bedchair review
NGT Profiler 8-Leg Bedchair (Sleep System)
By Tom Calder
We no longer recommend this model, so it no longer appears in our buying guides. In its place, we now recommend NGT XPR 6-Leg Bedchair and Dynamic Sleeping Bag (Sleep System) in our Fishing & foraging kit guide.
Key specs
The maker's figures.
- Type
- 8-leg bedchair + fleece sleeping bag
- Key detail
- Fully-flat recline, 8 adjustable mud feet, bundled sleeping bag
An eight-leg bedchair is the point where an angler stops enduring the night and starts sleeping through it, and NGT makes that tier affordable without Fox or Nash flagship pricing. Note what this listing is: the sleep-system bundle — bedchair plus a matching fleece-lined sleeping bag — which is why it costs more than bedchair-only listings. It earns its keep on overnights; for a few daytime hours a £30 chair does the job at a third of the weight. It's 10kg+ — see the barrow below.
- Best for
- Sleep properly on the bank — the affordable route to the full sleep system.

Researched, not used. We haven't used this product. This review is built from the maker's specifications, owner reports and our own sizing.
What we like
- Fully-flat recline and 8 adjustable feet handle real banks
- Bundled fleece sleeping bag completes the sleep system in one buy
- NGT price for a comfort tier Fox charges double for
Worth knowing
- Heavy and bulky — realistically wants a barrow
- Check the maximum user weight before buying

This is a Researched review: we haven't used this product. We check every specification against at least two independent sources, re-check the UK price on a schedule where we can track it automatically, and say plainly who it isn't for. Commissions never change a rating.
