A well-built, quiet 1kWh unit with safe LiFePO4 cells and unusually fast recharging, making it one of the more sensible mid-size backups for a British home. Just wait for a discount, as the RRP rarely reflects the real price.

RRP is ~£999 but the original (Gen 1) C1000 is very frequently discounted — TechRadar reported a £509 deal, and the newer Gen 2 launched around £699, so the Gen 1 typically sells in the ~£550-£650 range. £599 is a sensible mid-point, not an exact live figure.
