BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 Portable Power Station

Set against the AC180 it replaces, on BLUETTI's own specs for both, the numbers favour it: the same 1,800W output and five-year warranty, 4,000+ rated cycles, 1,000W of solar input against 500W, a 70-minute full recharge, and 11.5kg against 16kg. Against the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic, which usually costs a little less, it is 600g lighter, takes twice the solar input, has two 100W-plus USB-C ports and a 12V car socket the Classic lacks; both have two mains sockets. Either keeps a fridge cold for the better part of a day. This is our pick of the two if you have or plan solar panels, or will carry it about; the Classic is the cheaper way in.

Our review
The 1kWh BLUETTI most households should look at: 1,024Wh of LFP cells, 1,800W from two mains sockets, 11.5kg, and 1,000W of solar input. What matters most is how little it asks you to carry for what it stores, with a 10ms switchover and a 140W USB-C port thrown in. It suits a home that wants the fridge-freezer and broadband covered for a long evening and may add panels.
What the numbers mean
1,024Wh is about one unit of electricity, of which roughly 780Wh reaches your appliances by the site's planning method (90% depth of discharge, 85% inverter efficiency, 10W self-consumption); BLUETTI's own FAQ uses the same 90% and 10W. 1,800W continuous covers any single appliance short of a kettle or heater; Power Lifting admits purely resistive loads of 1,800 to 2,700W while real output stays at 1,800W, and the surge rating is 3,600W for compressor starts. BLUETTI rates the cells at 4,000 cycles to 80%, about eleven years of daily cycling.
In a UK power cut
By our runtime method over the appliance-draw dataset, a fridge-freezer lasts 13 to 36 hours, a router 33 to 42 hours, a CPAP on blower alone 26 to 56 hours (9.5 to 25 hours with a heated humidifier), a laptop 10 to 20 hours, a television 3.5 to 18 hours and a gas combi boiler's electrics 6 to 17 hours. Fridge-freezer, router, four LED bulbs and a charging phone together give 4.5 to 14 hours; with the combi boiler, 2.5 to 8.5 hours. Boilers are hard-wired, so that needs an electrician's changeover first; see can a power station run a gas boiler.
The UPS switches within 10ms, with four app modes including Time Control for cheap overnight charging; BLUETTI says it is not for servers. ECO mode is on by default and cuts a socket after a spell of low load, so turn it off for a fridge, a router or anything under 60W. A 2.2kW kettle runs only in Power Lifting mode, slowly, at about 30Wh a minute or 4% of the usable battery.
How it compares
The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic is the direct rival: the same 1,024Wh and 1,800W at 12.1kg, with 500W of solar, two sockets, no 12V outputs and a 1,400W charge input. The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus adds four sockets, 1,000W of solar and expansion to 5kWh at 12.5kg. Within BLUETTI, the Premium 100 V2 publishes the same specification under a different label, and the BLUETTI AC70 is the 768Wh, 1,000W step down. All sit on BLUETTI power stations.
Living with it
The manual gives three mains modes: Standard and Silent at 600W take about two hours, Turbo at 1,200W reaches 80% in 45 minutes, and BLUETTI's page quotes 70 minutes to full. A full charge from empty costs about 27p at the Ofgem price cap rate of 26.32p per kWh for October to December 2026, before losses. Solar is 12 to 60V at up to 1,000W; the manual lists an MC4-to-XT60 solar cable in the box, though BLUETTI UK's box list leaves it out, and the car cable is extra. Outlets are two mains sockets, a 140W and a 100W USB-C, two 15W USB-A, a 12V 10A car socket and two DC5521 barrels. BLUETTI claims 30dB under 600W and the manual caps noise at 50dB. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, no stacking battery (a B80 can top it up in power-bank mode), a five-year warranty, and 30-day returns on unused units from BLUETTI UK.
Safety
Charge from 0°C to 40°C and discharge from -20°C to 40°C; the manual says not to use it in rain or high humidity, to store it at 40 to 60%, and to cycle it fully every three months. It names a dry powder extinguisher and classes the USB-C, DC5521 and car ports as PS3 under IEC 62368-1. Our verdict
For a household whose power-cut list is the fridge-freezer, the router, phones and some light, this is the 1kWh unit we would point to first: lighter than either DELTA 3, quick to refill from the mains or a decent solar array, and generous with USB-C. Skip it if you want a system that grows, because it cannot stack a battery, or if your list stops at phones and the router, where a 300Wh unit is plenty. Who shouldn't buy this
You don't need the fridge covered: a 300Wh unit or a big power bank keeps phones, lights and the router going for a fraction of the price. And if you want a system you can expand to several kWh, look at the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus (to 5kWh) or DELTA 3 Max Plus (to 10kWh) instead.

Can the BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 run a fridge-freezer?
Yes. A fridge-freezer averaging 12 to 51W runs 13 to 36 hours on 1,024Wh by the site's runtime method, and BLUETTI's own formula gives the same order of figure. Turn ECO mode off so the socket is not cut between compressor cycles.
How long does the Elite 100 V2 take to charge?
BLUETTI's manual says 80% in 45 minutes in Turbo mode at 1,200W from a UK socket, and about two hours in Standard or Silent mode at 600W; its page quotes 70 minutes to full. 1,000W of solar manages the same in ideal sun.
How loud is the Elite 100 V2?
BLUETTI states 30dB with a load under 600W. The manual gives a maximum of 50dB, which you will meet during Turbo charging or near full output.
Can the Elite 100 V2 take an extra battery?
