Bosch EasyPump Cordless Air Pump review

Drivers who want a compact, glovebox-sized pump for occasional tyre top-ups and inflatables, not a workshop tool.

Our verdict
3.8 / 5

A neat, well-made small pump backed by Bosch's official specs, but its 10 l/min output is modest next to 12V models — expect a few minutes per tyre rather than under a minute. It charges over USB and comes with the accessories you actually need, so there's no hidden battery cost to factor in.

What we like
  • Genuinely pocket-sized (430g) with a built-in 3.6V/3Ah battery — no separate Bosch tool-platform battery to buy
  • Charges via USB-C-style cable, so it tops up from a power bank, car USB port or wall plug
  • Comes with French valve, ball needle and volume adapter, covering tyres, balls and airbeds out of the box
Worth knowing
  • 10 l/min output is slow for a flat car tyre — better suited to top-ups than full reinflation from empty
  • No stated gauge accuracy figure published by Bosch, so treat the digital readout as indicative and cross-check with a separate gauge for anything safety-critical

Who shouldn't buy this

You need to reinflate a fully flat car tyre roadside in a hurry — a mains- or 12V-powered inflator with a higher output will get you moving faster.
