A compact, well-reviewed battery inflator that's quick enough for a genuine flat-to-driveable top-up and small enough for a glovebox or grab bag. At around £40 it's honest value, though its ±1 PSI accuracy claim is the manufacturer's figure — we haven't seen independent lab verification.

- Quoted ±1 PSI gauge accuracy and inflation-time figures come from the manufacturer/retailer listings, not independent lab testing
Who shouldn't buy this
Skip it if you need to fully air up large 4x4, van or trailer tyres back-to-back in one session — a mains or vehicle-corded compressor with a bigger duty cycle will cope better than a battery unit.
