We no longer recommend this model, so it no longer appears in our buying guides. In its place, we now recommend Winix Zero-S Air Purifier in our Air purifiers guide.
Key specs
The maker's figures.

- CADR
- Not published by Dyson for this model
- Filter
- Sealed HEPA H13 + carbon + formaldehyde catalytic filter
- Noise (min)

The only purifier here with a dedicated formaldehyde-destroying catalytic filter, and it doubles as a cooling fan — genuinely useful if that's a real concern (new furniture, a recent renovation). It costs roughly double the next most expensive model on this list, and Dyson doesn't publish a CADR figure, so you can't benchmark its raw filtering speed against rivals.
- Best for
- Households wanting formaldehyde filtration alongside cooling fan function, and prepared to pay for it
- Skip it if
- You just want straightforward pollen and dust filtration for a normal room

Researched, not used. We haven't used this product. This review is built from the maker's specifications, owner reports and our own sizing.
What we like
- Sealed HEPA H13 filter captures 99.95% of particles down to 0.1 microns
- Dedicated catalytic filter destroys over 99% of formaldehyde rather than just trapping it
- Doubles as a cooling fan, not just a purifier
Worth knowing
- By far the most expensive model on this list — nearly triple the Levoit Core 300S
- No published CADR figure, so raw filtering speed can't be compared to the rest of this table
- Formaldehyde filtration is a niche need most households won't require

Who shouldn't buy this
Don't buy it if you just want straightforward pollen and dust filtration for a normal room — a HEPA purifier a fraction of the price does that job just as well.
This is a Researched review: we haven't used this product. We check every specification against at least two independent sources, re-check the UK price on a schedule where we can track it automatically, and say plainly who it isn't for. Commissions never change a rating.
