The ARC is Leatherman's current flagship and the natural upgrade path since the Free P2 was discontinued. It earns its premium price with genuinely excellent steel, but it's built for a kit at home or in the car, not for carrying around.

Who shouldn't buy this
Don't buy it to carry day-to-day in public — under the Criminal Justice Act 1988 s.139, a locking blade like the ARC's cannot legally be carried in a public place without good reason, even though owning it and keeping it at home or in a vehicle toolkit is entirely lawful.
