The handbooks tell you what to do and where to go for help. The fillable files are where your own household’s answers go: your water and food sums, your power cut plan, the house’s shut-offs, your numbers, documents and medicines.
The home and the people in it
Half the library is about the house: emergencies, winter, floods and power. The other half is about people: a parent who needs more help, a family member targeted by a scam, and the paperwork after a death.

What exactly do I get?+
Every title in the pack, 15 PDFs and 1,273 pages in all, to download straight after paying. The handbooks are PDF ebooks to read on any phone, tablet or computer, or to print. The fillable files are A4 forms: open them in Adobe Acrobat Reader or Apple Preview, type in and save, or print and write by hand. Nothing is printed or posted. We also email you a link to your downloads.
Is each title the full version?+
Yes. Every handbook and file in a pack is exactly what you get buying it on its own. The pack is just the same titles together for less.
Does it work in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland?+
Yes. Where the rules or services differ between the four nations, each title says so and points to the right official service for each.
Will it go out of date?+
Each title names the official service to check rather than printing fees or amounts that change. If we update a title, your download link gives you the current version.
Can I get a refund?+
Because it downloads the moment you pay, the 14-day cancellation period doesn’t apply to digital downloads you’ve asked to receive straight away. If anything won’t open or something is wrong with it, email us and we’ll sort it out.
