The GB70 is NOCO's mid-large Boost size: built to the same spark-proof, reverse-polarity-protected standard as the smaller GB40 but rated for meaningfully bigger engines. It costs more than most drivers need, so it's worth checking your engine size against the GB40 before paying the difference.

your only vehicle is a small petrol car - NOCO's cheaper GB40 (1000A, up to 8.0L petrol claim scales down accordingly, realistically small-to-mid petrol cars and diesels to ~3.0L) covers that job for less. Step up to the GB70 only if you regularly need to start a larger diesel, van or 4x4.
